I've done a bit of research and it looks legit. If this indeed is just a loan without any money exchanging hands someone at AUFC needs to be shot.

By far our best defender this year. Shame to see him go. Now Boogard must step up bcz Cornwank will never be anything mire than a hack

Like, he is gone today, tomorrow, before the ACL is over?
What?

There's nothing in Australian news. This doesn't sound right.

This seems dodgy

yeah i read that article and thought it was a bit weird that nothing was mentioned about the move if it was true. I would have thought something would have been mentioned by know in the media about it if their was substance to it.

Unlikely, unless he's signing after the group stage...?

Also, who the hell organises our flights? Piss poor planning the route they took, many easier ways to get to China that would be less tiring for the players.

I'm trying to find this out. The club doesnt have an affiliated travel agent (it used to be Airport Travel) but since the Patzwald saga i dont know. Ridiculous routing though.

We get $33,000 per game for travel from the AFC. We'd be taking close to 30 people with us. Surely the FFA would kick in a $30,000 to make travel reasonable.

Kick it in to who? They're paying for it anyway, aren't they?

Even if they didn't own you ... Why would they do that?

They're not a charity.

I think Seano is saying, if they are willing to take a slice of the prize money, plus dish it out to the other clubs, why cant they chip in to make the flight (and possibly enhance Adelaide's chances of winning games) more comfortable?
