Interesting that both Pantelis and Jamieson go in the one off-season. It's probably for the best in both cases, just interesting to see your left-sided stocks drop so quickly. Cassio will be happy.

quite possible given the conflicts hes had with Viddie.

Highly doubt it though. Not like the mariners are going anywhere spectacular.

And he'll go nowhere fast under Graham Arnold.

Had a quick look over the net and can't find anything to confirm this. Better not be true.

According to Val Melbourne Heart are keen on him. So he's more likely to quit football and become a fireman. Going by Val's record!

Dunno if he's that much of a loss, frankly.

i don't understand how people can not care if jambo goes. I challenge anyone to seriously name a player of his age and skill that could come in to replace him.

So he has been a little hot and cold this year. He's a national team player, with ACL and EPL experience (alright he didn't play EPL but you don't play for an EPL club and not learn anything) and if we do sign him on for anyother couple of seasons there could be a nice transfer fee for him if he goes back to europe.

id like to think he would stay here unless going overseas but in reality prob wont happen.

i always hate seeing key AU players start the AU merry go round, if he goes to europe which is what im expecting goodluck to him .

though if he does goto another a-league club i think its pretty much a backwards move for him

Central Coast have just signed another left back in Josh Rose, so I would assume it's unlikely Jambo will be going to Mariners?

yeah was playing for one of the major clubs over there,

i like whats starting to happen with the league in that alot of the middle tier aussie players in europe around their prime are coming back as the league is starting to get more credibility with ACL,coaching and general standards.

this is great if we can retain the majority of our aussie stars .. all but the real superstars that deserve to be playing in the top leagues of thre world

You're forgetting that "middle tier" leagues like those of Scandinavia and Eastern Europe are of a good enough standard, in terms of coaching and player development, to be a viable option for any professional.

I don't think he's forgetting that middle tier Euro leagues are a viable option for a professional footballer DV, just pointing out that coming back to Australia is now also not necessarily a career-limiting move
