Apparently Jambo was on 9 news last night saying the ACL has inspired him to stay at Adelaide.

I can still see him leaving if a good deal in Europe came but its great to hear him want to stay.

If it wasn't for a bit of a quiet patch early this season i would have him around the top 5 performers for Adelaide in the last couple of seasons

worrying that he can go off the boil so easily though. It took the a-league international games for him to start concentrating on his game again.

i really hope someone like tony vidmar who's being there and done that as a defender is taking him under his wing and getting his head in the right place

I don't mind if this little c*nt leaves tbh.

What was with that attrocious piece of acting in the box at the south end? Rolling around like he'd just been shot and then immediately jumped up and sprinted back to join the play.

Did anyone else see Jamo in the second half when he was in space on the left asking for the ball to be switched to him across field and it didn't happen? He was losing his shit big time, happened on a couple of occasions. Also blew up at the linesman at one point, can't remember why. A bit of an attitude problem but he's an asset to the team when he turns it on (hasn't happened for a while though)

True true, i can handle a little diving, but when players are going down with an untied boot lace we don't need the stretcher coming out. It just make the ref look like a retread who has no control over the game.

If a player goes down (because they should be injured!) they should have to stay off the field for an extended period of time say 5 mins.

I dont mind the diving, but i dont like how he abuses his teammates he rarely did that in his first season. This is where i feel its vidmars role to show him the mentaility that we want for whats best for the team. I think hes trying to play the 'tough guy' role without really knowing the right way to go about it.

TBH Give me Cassio over Jamo (I think he give us more options)

Cassio still has the passion and his runs up the left with dangerous balls in should not be underestimated.

But hey - I heart Cassio

always had a soft spot for cassio, and i agree i would definately have cassio in the first 11 over jambo. just watching cassio's celebration the other night, you could tell how much it meant to him.

I saw him take that dive and my thoughts were, its good to see that Adelaide's players have adapted to the ACL and Asian refs. I really don't see it as a big deal as it occurs in all leagues and its not like our guys do it all the time, its actually a good tactic for example when you are under pressure. Do like it, we ll no, but every other team does it in Asia so why not Adelaide.

As for Jamo, yeah sure he is mouthy, he makes mistakes etc, but gee, he's not our worst player and certainly not alone in having a not so good season in the A-league. I reckon when he does leave, all you people whinging about him will realise what an asset he has been for us and what strength he has given us on the left. For me, start cassio instead of Pantelis, because I thought he was our weakest link on Wednesday and has been woefully hot and cold.

I couldn't disagree more with the first part of your post

The second part - yep when he nails a delivery they are generally dangerous

The third part - TBH I would have kept both Cassio and Jamo ahead of Pantellis, but now we have re-signed Lucas, my preferred option would be Cassio (seemingly someone who ACTUALLY wants to be here).
I have a feeling that Viddie isnt a fan of Brazillians in general
though

I can't understand how Pantelis makes the 11 either he probably make double the mistakes of Jambo.

All Jambos mistakes are usually because his head isn't screwed on at times, Pantelis' are just becuase he's shit.

The thing with jamo for me is that as a talented LB wo wants to venture over to europe id assume he would have the skills to me more versatile and be able to play in the midfield aswell , much the same as cassio, but he just doesnt seem to have that pace on the ball.

though how many good LB's are there in aus, i hope we do keep him he is a good player but i just rate cassio more, plus theres something that sings out to me when cassio scores a goal and sometimes touched the club emblem

He's playing a bidding war with multiple HAL clubs. You'll have to pay through the nose to keep him.

I would gladly have him as the underage marquee (if Leckie didn't take it)
