So if we play attacking and entertaining football and still finish last will that be an improvement?

Yes, because last year we played defensive and dull football and finished last

At least this way, I would be entertained

Not only that but i will not be missing:
- The annual press conference brain fades
- Player infighting
- An unfit captain unable to take a penalty
- A lack of development in the young players
- Stubborn unchangeable game plan

All i expect is a professional club doing its best to improve and get better i did not get that feeling with vidmar.

yes that penalty really showed what a shambles and a state the club was in at that time

This is one thing that worries me a bit. I hope there is no resentment or an attitude of the we wnated our man, butFFA forced this guy on us. Hopefully the old guard just let this man do his job and give him all the support he needs.

Remember our beloved club is rife wih politics, as Viddie so famously informed us.

The irony is that when Kosmina was sacked, the selection panel recommended Ange P ahead of Viddie for the job, which Bianco overruled

So I was watching the world cup final in a bar in Chiang Mai (me and my Spanish travel companions were the only non Dutch in the place) and was chatting to a guy from Roosendaal (Coolen's former club) and thought he'd probably be a success in our league (without really knowing the standard here).

I'm looking forward to the season.

Reading about him in the Tiser apparently he's on $280k for us. Two things surprised me about that, one thats quite a bit more then what he was on and two its the same money as Viddie.

I would have thought he would have been on more in The Netherlands and i can't believe we were paying Viddie that much!

the club he was coach of was tiny, they play out of a stadium with 5k capacity. I doubt they could afford to pay much for a coach or any staff.

There is always something eminently dysfunctional about AUFC on and off the field. Adelaide Disunited would be pretty appropriate.
